The Blinds   At the end of the first clinic day in Cai Lậy after treating 400 patients, SCF was asked to see about 80 patients from a local center for the blinds. SCF was able to provide medical, dental treatments for these patients. Each blind patient also received a pair of sunglasses, rice and monentary gifts.   Afterward, the director of the center for the blinds asked SCF to help in the renovation of their vocational training building. Congenital Cataract

Another successful story to tell! #kindnessinaction Congenital Cataract (Cườm bẩm sinh) During SCF clinic of 2018 Vietnam mission at Trường Tiểu Học C, An Châu municipality, An Giang Province, Dr Kỳ Nguyễn, our Mission Co-director, evaluated a two-week old child who was brought to the clinic by her grandmother for what turned out to be bilateral congenital cataract. SCF worked with the local Red Cross to have the baby evaluted at one of the hospitals in Sai Gòn. During the work up at the hospital, the baby also has a congential heart defect.
