Sakya Care Foundation is excited to announce our Third Parahita* International Humanitarian Project to the Mekong Delta area of Vietnam from June 29 to July 8, 2018.
*Parahita is the Sanskrit term meaning ‘action for the benefit of others’.
Our First Parahita Mission Trip to Bodh Gaya, India in 2015, and our Second Oversea Mission to Binh Dinh, Ban Me Thuot and Daklak, Vietnam in 2016 were of great success. For both of these missions, our participating volunteers/members – physicians, dentists, optometrists, pharmacists, nurses, etc… – provided compassionate medical, dental and vision care to thousands and thousands of impoverished people. Besides free medical care, each individual patient who came to the clinic – adults and children alike – also received a nominal gift of essential necessities like rice, oil, noodles, clothing, book pack, and money. (See pictures of our previous clinics below.)
We would love to invite you to join us for this upcoming Parahita Medical Mission to the Southern parts of Vietnam – the Mekong Delta.
DATE: June 29 to July 8
LOCATIONS: Three different clinic sites are being finalized.
COST: $1000.
Option 1 – full payment is greatly appreciated.
Option 2 – pay $500 at time of registration, and balance on or before May 15th.
This fee includes:
Lodging in 4+ star hotels (double occupancy).
Three meals per day.
A/C Bus transportation from Saigon to clinic cities.
Local transportation daily from hotel to clinic site and back.
Cost associated with clinic.
Other logistics.

Day-trip sightseeing (TBD)
*** You are responsible for YOUR OWN ROUND TRIP TICKET from USA to Vietnam and Visa cost.
*** If professionals, We need a copy of your license in English and in Vietnamese as soon as possible for registration purpose in Vietnam. You are responsible to have your MEDICAL LICENSE translated to Vietnamese and notarized by a Notary Public.
PARTICIPANTS: We are looking for ALL volunteers, medical and non-medical, to assist in various tasks throughout the project. Please check your busy schedule, arrange for time off, and join us for a fantastic trip oversea. Looking forward to seeing you and working together for a very good cause helping less fortunate folks !!
