Sakya Care Foundation is excited to announce our Fourth Parahita* International Humanitarian Project to Vietnam and Cambodia from June 22 to July 4, 2020.
*Parahita is the Sanskrit term meaning ‘action for the benefit of others’.
Our First Parahita Mission Trip to Bodh Gaya, India in 2015, our Second Overseas Mission to Binh Dinh, Ban Me Thuot and Daklak, Vietnam in 2016, and our Third Overseas Mission to the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam were of great success. For these missions, our participating volunteers/members – physicians, dentists, optometrists, pharmacists, nurses, etc… – provided compassionate medical, dental and vision care to thousands and thousands of impoverished people. Besides free medical care, each individual patient who came to the clinic – adults and children alike – also received a nominal gift of essential necessities like rice, oil, noodles, clothing, book pack, and money. We would love to invite you to join us for this upcoming Parahita Medical Mission to Vietnam and Cambodia
DATE: June 22 to July 4, 2020
LOCATIONS: Cambodia-Đồng Nai – Xuân Lộc – Mũi Né
COST: $1300
Option 1 – full payment is greatly appreciated.
Option 2 – pay 50% of mission fee at time of registration, and balance on or before March 15th, 2020
This fee includes:
Lodging in 4+ star hotels or equivalent (double occupancy).
Three meals per day.
A/C Bus transportation from Saigon to clinic cities.
Local transportation daily from hotel to clinic site and back.

*** You are responsible for YOUR OWN ROUND TRIP TICKET from USA to Vietnam and Visa cost.
*** If professionals, We need a copy of your license in English as soon as possible for registration purpose in Vietnam and Cambodia.
PARTICIPANTS: We are looking for ALL volunteers, medical and non-medical, to assist in various tasks throughout the project. Please check your busy schedule, arrange for time off, and join us for a fantastic trip oversea. Age: 18 years old and above
If you are younger than 18, you would need to have your parents’s permission as well as one of the guardian/parents to accompany you on this trip. The youngest age that can participate in the mission due to its hardship is 16 years old. We are limiting the number of teenagers to ensure that all participants get the best experience. Cancellation policy:
1. If cancel before Feb 15, 100% refunded
2. If cancel between Feb 16-Mar 15, 50% of the mission fee will be refunded
3. If cancel after March 15, NO REFUND. Your money will be paid for any cancellation fees and the rest will be donated into the mission.
Registration is on a first come first serve basis. This cancellation policy is put in place to help other wait-listers have enough time to arrange their schedules. Thank you for understanding and for your ongoing support!
