Sakya Care Foundation’s mission is to provide free health care to those in need and also to assist them during any catastrophic events. This year, 2017, Sakya Care will host a free mobile clinic to the Houstonians, especially to those affected by hurricane Harvey in December at Vien Thong Buddhist Temple. We also have 2 projects in Viet Nam, to provide free health care to 2000 patients at Ben Tre and An Giang this weekend, on Nov 10-11. Our Vietnam team will also go to the central area where people are heavily affected by the most recent hurricane and their houses are completely covered under the flood.
